Roger L. Boozier, 58, a resident for 20 years of Anderson, Indiana, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, an employee of Guide Lamp for 27 years before his retirement in 1997, died at his residence on Sunday, April 22, 2001, following an extended illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, 2001, 5-8 p.m., at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, 1 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Michael Hamm, chaplain for Community VNA Hospice. Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Pennville, Indiana. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Dunkirk American Legion Post 227. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Butz Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson, Indiana.
