Not sure what to say?

Dear Brown Family, I am Mel Traylor's step-daughter (Marjorie's daughter) and was just thinking of your parents today. I knew that Barbara had died and wondered how Roger was doing. I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you. For many years I enjoyed the New Year's Day party on Clavey Road and the summer picnic - I am so lucky to have known your parents and have fond memories of time spent with the Traylors and the Browns. Sincerely, Melissa

I will miss Roger greatly. His involvement with the Standard Club and his desire to always make our suburban lunches and events will sit with me forever and whenever I eat an oyster, I think of Roger fondly and our last lunch at Froggy's. He was a great friend and mentor to so many. May his memory be for an eternal blessing.

Roger was one of the nicest persons we ever met in our lives. In fact we looked up to your family as role models

My prayers for the family

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I am so sorry to read about the death of your Grandfather, please accept my deepest condolences. May the God of all Comfort be with your family at this very difficult time.

Sorry for your Loss may the God of comfort be with you and your family at this time act 24:15

Our friendship grew from that point forward. I found Roger to be a unique human being; honest, humble, humorous and extremely intelligent, among many other admirable traits. To say he'll be missed is a gross understatement, but to say Roger left the world better than he found it is an even greater understatement. Well...
