Not sure what to say?

Dad,
I miss the person you were before that horrible disease of Alzheimers robbed you of your memory and eventually your life. You had such a great sense of humor and used to play little tricks on us when we were little. I appreciate the hard work you did to support us all. You cared very much about our education because your own education was to go to war. If I showed you a C on my report card you made it clear that you expected more out of me. I'm thankful that you worked so hard to...

Dear Bucaro Family,
It was a pleasure looking after your Mom and Dad this past year. Your father was a great man. Very sweet and in love with your Mom, which he told her everyday. I enjoyed the fact that he had his routine, Burger King and outing, everyday. You were all so attentive, not many families are as supportive as you were. So very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,

Dear June and Keith,
We hadn't heard of your loss and want to express our condolences. Your Dad will be missed by all who knew him.
Love,
Dan & Olivia O'Brien

Uncle Roger, you touched so many people with your kindness and quick smile. I loved hearing your stories and sharing the laughter with you. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Love you, your niece Janice

Dad, It's hard to believe you are gone. We know you are free and able to be yourself again. I remember how you liked to wear bow ties. One day you told me it was to honor your little brother Art. Those were his bow ties. I thought that was very sweet and just like you. Your day was not complete without a visit to Burger King. You liked how they would call out "Roger's here". You made friends everywhere you went. We will take care of your "girl" for you. And like you always said, I...

Dad, It's hard to believe you are gone. We know that you are free now and able to be yourself again. I remember how you always wore a bow tie. One day you told me it was to honor your little brother Art. Those were his bow ties. That was so sweet and typical of you. Your day was not complete without a visit to Burger King. You enjoyed how they would call out "Roger's here". You made friends every where you went. We will look after your "Girl" for you. And like you always would tell me, I...

Dad, it is so hard to believe you are gone. We know you are free now and able to be yourself again. I remember how liked to wear bow ties, one day you told me it was to honor your little brother Art. Those were his ties. I thought that was so sweet and just like you. Your day was not complete with out a trip to Burger King. You loved how the folks there would call out, Roger's here! Everyone loved you and called you friend. We will take care of your "Girl" for you. As you always said, I...

(cont.) you made it clear that you expected more out of me. I'm thankful that you worked so hard to keep us fed, clothed, and took us to fun places. I wish I could have known you better. I love you and miss you. You were funny nearly to the end. It would have been great to meet the boy in this photo with such promise and a twinkle in your eyes. You are a true member of the Greatest Generation. Love you lots Dad. Mary, #3

Dearest Grandpa,
You were the only grandpa I ever knew and I could never had asked for a better one. You were such an amazing man, father, grandfather and role model.
Growing up, I can never even remember one time upsetting you. We were the light to your days, the grand children who kept you on your toes. I loved hearing your War stories, over and over and over again. Seeing you proudly wear your Veteran cap brings back so many wonderful memories.
As I got older, I shared...
