Not sure what to say?

I served under Roger while at CG Commsta New Orleans and must say he was a terrific leader. That was 40 years ago but I remember him like it was yesterday. Always spread cheer and always positive. Fair Seas Shipmate.

Went to school with Roger, we got our novice licenses together. He'll leaves a big hole.

I volunteered with Roger at WSGE. He was always a pleasure to be around. I will miss him. His knowledge of the Big Band music was unlimited. He was always willing to help & to share. He was a very good man May God Comfort His Family. Ron Ramsey

So sorry Joyce to hear about Roger's passing. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Got to know Roger when he served in New England while still in the Coast Guard. He was a special person and his friends in New England will miss him.

How many hams have their call sign on their mailbox? Roger did, and that led to a very warm and wonderful visit to his house to see his ham radio station during my travels as a service technician. I also enjoyed seeing him at CDXA events. He was a huge wealth of knowledge and experience that he was always very willing to share. We miss him a lot already.

Roger will be sorely missed.

A outstanding man with a wealth of knowledge of all areas... Roger was a very unique friend.... willing to help and share with every DJ that came to WSGE... so Happy To have had him touch our lives.. May the Grace and Comfort of The Almighty surround and keep you during this time .....Jerry L.

Roger was one of a kind. A talented radio professional who brought joy to many by playing Big Band music on WSGE. I will miss his quick wit and our discussions on genealogy. He will be missed. Burt Family know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
