Dear Becky, Vera, and all Capan family members and friends:
I just received news of Roger's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I attended graduate school with Roger at the University of Illinois back in August 1973. He made me feel like a little brother. He gave me a ride on the back of his motorcycle(my first). I will always remember the little VW he had with a truck air horn. His enthusiasm, love of life, and smile were contagious. I will miss home greatly. I know he is looking...

Aunt Vera and Roger's family,
My sincere sympathy for the loss of your son, husband, father and grandfather. Although I haven't seen Roger for too many years to count I remember him as a young adult and remember the impressive way he carried himself.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Rosemary Capan Kallevig (cousin) Eveleth MN

I haven't seen Roger in over 45 years and I was just shocked to hear from my cousin of his sudden passing. My hearfelt sympathy to Becky, their children, and to my Aunt Vera as they grieve Roger's death.
It is ironic that...

To Roger's family and friends.
I was a classmate of Roger's here in Champaign. I knew Roger in the sixth grade on. He was alway a wonderful person. He and I reconnected via Facebook and it was always good to hear from him. I will always cherish my memories of your wonderful man. I know the Lord is excited to have him home but we will miss him until we meet again on the other side. Our prayers are with you all during your time of mourning. May God's peace be with you.
