Roger and Sara hve been our wonderful neighbors in Neskowin and have made our street a welcome place. Now there is a large empty space on Yamhill, that is filled with memories of big man with a bigger heart. He touched everyone with his kindness and help. He will always be part of our times at the beach.

I would first like to thank all of you again for your thoughts and prayers for my mother and family.
It was wonderful to read how my father has touched each one of you. I wish my boy’s (15 and 10 years old) and I could have spent more time with him.
As some of you may know my boy’s have always called him “Grandpa Bigga-One” and my Mom “Grandma Bigga-One”. So please add this one to my Dad’s list of names.
Being the oldest son and his name sake I will try to fill these...

When I was a teen on Mercer Island, I remember Mr. Coit as a force of energy: happy, strong, and funny. My thoughts are with all the Coits, love and hugs.

To my dear friend and work associate, Roger, Jr., I know that your father is in a better place, but also want you to know that he raised a man whose human spirit, kindness and generosity are dear to every one of us at the family of Diversified Chemical Technologies. I'm sure that I would have enjoyed, appreciated and respected your father in the same manner as I do you, which is indicative of the man who raised such a fine son.

Dear Sara & Family, we can't think of any words to say except a part of Neskowin is missing. We miss seeing him riding the lawnmower at the firestation! Love Ya Roger! We'll try to keep Sara in a supply of Richard's good cookies!
