Roger Conway, in addition to his many and varied academic accomplishments, was one of the good guys. Always a gentleman and scholar , he contributed much to the Southern community with grace and steadfast loyalty. Southern gained much from his many contributions to Media Studies and all endeavors in which he was involved. Ellen Beatty

Mr Conway had an indelible impact on me during my years at Southern CT. He was generous with his time and made no hesitation giving time and attention to those of us who were invested in being English Majors. He shared his own writing efforts in the effort to improve student's ability to read with a critical eye, achieve one's best work and appreciate the literature he was introducing us to.
