Firm but thoughtful, my father was a kind, pragmatic man with a quirky sense of humor. Proud of his military service, he talked frequently about his activities with the American Legion Post and the Volunteer Fire Department.

Roger has been a member of the Northeast USA Vietnam Veterans Reunion Association in Greene County, NY since 2006. When Roger and Sandy arrived at our reunions he was very helpful doing whatever we needed done. Sandy was there for us too, selling shirts. Roger always like to hang the Marine Flag upside down, to see how long it would be till they notice it. RIP Roger till we meet again. Jim
