Not sure what to say?

Roger & Carolyn,

You will be in our prayers tomorrow as you celebrate the life of your father. Each goodbye of a loved one does remind us of the loss we have incurred. We both are still experiencing those times in the loss of Judy's mom & Larry's dad & step-mom in the last 3 years. May God fill the empty spot caused by the death of your father with His amazing grace.

In Christ's Abiding Love,
Judy & Larry

I’m finally going to come clean. Many years ago we had a family get-together at Roger and Mary’s house. At that time all of us nephews were around 10-12 years old. Russ invited us all to go downstairs and play on Uncle Roger’s pool table in the basement. During my turn, I decided to set up my first time ever combination shot. Well, my “combination” was successful. I took out the felt and the overhead light all in one stroke. I guess I tried to overdue the english. Of course we all...

On behalf of the Ezra Gibbs family, I would like to offer our condolences to Mary and family.

Judy (nee Gibbs)

I was able to see Uncle Roger a short time ago. The first thing he said was “James, how’s your golf game”? It reminded me of several years ago when we had a big family reunion in Leavenworth. We had a scramble tournament at the nearby golf course. I was teamed up with my brother, Uncle Roger, and Uncle Hoppy. We probably came in last place, but we sure had one hell of a good time. Uncle Roger was just a great guy to be around.

Prayerfully Yours,

Dear Mary,
I just heard about Roger and am so sorry. I didn't really know Roger all that well, but definitely remember how gracious he was. I so enjoyed my last visit on the phone with him a year or so ago. Am just sorry I didn't make it out to see you guys. Please accept our deepest sympathy and our prayers. He will be greatly missed by you and the rest of your family. Take care.
Love,
Nancy and Bill Lierow

Uncle Roger was a great guy. He was always upbeat with a great sense of humor. It has always been a pleasure to be around him and Aunt Mary. They are the kind of people who just naturally make you feel welcome and comfortable when being with them. We have many wonderful memories of being at their house and at the family reunions. His presence will be missed by all.

We will miss Roger, his quiet sense of humor and his love of family and friends. All our love and support to his wife, Mary, and his family.
