You were the best of us

Roger in the sandbox...

Hey Roger,

Well Devil Dog it has been a while since I have written but there isn't a moment go by I don't think of you and the craziness you brought into my life. From your advantage point you are seeing your children are growing and seem to be doing well. Sarah Beth is doing so well with them and you would be so proud of her wrangling them from sun up to sundown. Time for me to close or I will end up writing a book.

Love you so much Devil Dog, your Old Man

Roger,

You will always be remembered. The world lost you too soon, but I know you are still watching over us. To the machinegunners of Fox Company 2/1 there is a special place in our hearts that your can-do mentality and positive attitude will always hold. It seems like just yesterday we were in Fallujah and I know your in a better place.

Hey Rog, Well Christmas season has arrived of course that means your Old Man is lighting up the neighborhood just as Clarke Griswold would do. Thanks for the help as you were growing up to light up our home. Love Ya and Miss Ya, Buckethead. Your Old Man
