Not sure what to say?

I was a law student at Rutgers during Dean Dennis' tenure. On a deserted campus one summer, I had a chance(?) elevator encounter with Dean Dennis. During that brief encounter, Dean Dennis learned that I was a single mom going back to school. Before leaving the elevator, he told me about a scholarship that he thought I qualified for and encouraged me to apply. I applied for and received the scholarship, which covered my tuition for the upcoming semester. His act of kindness stayed with...

I knew Roger Dennis as a student, where he excelled as a teacher. Later, I got to know him better as Dean. The earth will miss him, as we have far too few people of his intelligence, his wit, and his kindness.

RIP Professor Dennis.

I knew Roger Dennis as a Dean Dennis and as a teacher of securities law at Drexel Law School. More than that, I knew him as an extremely kind and compassionate man, a guardian of his students and professors. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. In addition to being a brilliant man, he was a person of deep goodness.

Sincere condolences to Debbie and family Lynn Dennis

I was a year behind Roger at Shaker and I went to his Senior Prom with him. We lost touch when he went off to college. I am always so sad to hear of the passing of old friends. My deepest condolences to his whole family. He was a kind and gentle soul and I´m sure he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

was a student ... eek, 45 years ago- unlike some other professors, he was just a nice pleasant person.

A great Friend and colleague, I am so sad learning about his passing. He was among my firsts "go to" for feedback. I will miss his insightful opinions and ideas! Condolences for the family. (I was promised a visit in Alaska that I may claim :) )

Saddened to hear of Roger´s passing. An exceptional man and person whom I knew first as Professor, then as Dean and ultimately as Mentor. Such an impact on my life dating back to 1983 and I hope his family is comforted by the fact there are many, many others like me who feel the same way. Rest in Peace Roger and thank you for everything. Thomas A. Muccifori
