Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to Rogers Family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of Roger´s passing. He and Blanche meant a lot to my husband, Shannon and I. Outboard motors and many others. Our condolences to his family and friends. Sincerely, Jennifer and Shannon Bathrick

Roger an I studied together at Tri-State College. Got to drive his hydroplane boat.

They may not have been his biological great grandchildren, but they were through my marriage. This is fact.

It isn't the same as my mom's. It didn't have any great grand children listed. Sandra and Matthew were important to my parents. Thanks Bob.

To those who may be confused and concerned over the contents of Roger´s obituary, please understand that Roger wrote this obituary himself and it is, in fact, a copy of the obituary used for his wife, Blanche. Any and all immediate biological family have been listed for historical accuracy. I hope this helps you find peace.

Hi Bob. I haven't seen you in ages. I hope you are well. You were with Dad on that awful day. He appreciated your support. I did not write his obituary. He does indeed have a great granddaughter, Sandie and a great grandson Matthew. He went by Riley when he was little. My dad thought so much of you. Thank you for being his friend.Sending you hugs. Vicki

My buddy Roger had 2 more great grandchildren. I was with him when he got the news their dad died in Iraq. Sandy was one. Don't remember the boys name off the top of my head. His daughter must not have written this.

To the family of Roger and Blanche . Through Dancing into Sunset i was able to meet Roger n Blanche when they started coming to Pomona Park to listen to the bands. Roger and the history he shared with me that was in his head regarding this area was amazing. He knew every resort on Spring Lake and the history behind each. I share his poster of pictures each Thursday night for all to see what Pomona Park use ro look like when the dance Pavilion was on the waters edge in Fruitport. Oh and the...

It was an honor and a pleasure to know and work with Roger Dykehouse. He was a part of the Sealed Power management team that hired me and brought my family and I to Muskegon nearly 40 years ago. We worked closely together until his retirement on several innovative engine parts programs that literally changed the trajectory of the gasoline and diesel engine industry. Brilliant engineering mind, and good friend. Many fond memories of traveling and fishing together. Godspeed Rog
