Not sure what to say?

Grampa - This seems surreal. You were 90 years old but I really thought you could live forever so that never phased me. Plus, that overactive mind of yours never stopped. You were a brilliant man. The smartest man I will ever know. In the moments we spent together, there was always a lesson I was being taught. You taught me everything I know, that´s for sure. I will live every day with 35 years of beautiful memories with you - fishing, fixing my car, racing boats, and the endless griping...

Uncle Rog was always so fun and welcoming when I was a kid. Great memories of his place in Spring Lake, his dog Pepper, and him letting me practice driving his big car around the block. Know he was ready to be reunited with his love Aunt Blanche.

Uncle Rog and Aunt Blanche provided many great memories, Coho Salmon Boils, boating, fun times!

Roger was a good friend. We worked on Westover genealogy and in 2020 together we put on a very successful family reunion in NUNICA. Shared a lot of laughs. RIP Rog

Offering my. Condolences Bill and amy and your entire family in the last Sophia, knowing exactly how it is, but knowing that the Lord came and took him home and he read a good family.Because this is what I saw in you. My dear friend know that you are in my prayer.

I had a lot of time as a kid hanging out at the Dykehouse home lot of great memory's with Rogers family they always treated me like family even when Steve and i found a little mischief (occasionally) Roger always willing to help me with any mechanical issues on many of my motorized projects he was a big guy with a generous heart he will be missed but not forgotten RIP my friend

I got to know Roger through the outboard motor club. I enjoyed his fascinating informational talks on the development of mercury outboards. I also remember him really having a liking for Champion outboards. He would buy a champion 4.2 horse motor at a garage sale for $35, and then take it apart, port, and polish the cylinder, and then finally put electronic ignition on it. The motor would now run like a 10 horse! Sometime shortly after he would bring it to one of our meets and enter it in a...

Lots of good memories.
