Read MoreIn August of 1995 I had the pleasure of getting to know Roger during the two weeks that we took a screenwriting class at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He was friendly and kind, and treated me to lunch a few times, during which we had interesting conversations about writing, life, etc. He gave me a book of his poetry, which I still have. I will always remember him fondly.

I was his nurse and I must say his stay here greatly impacted my life. I've never met such an amazing man as Mr. Egan. So sad to hear he passed.

Jean-Philippe and I have fond memories of Uncle Roger and Aunt Grace attending our wedding in France. Tonight, we pulled out our wedding photos so the children could share the memory. He will be missed. We send our love and prayers as he enters the kingdom of heaven. May he rest in peace.
