Not sure what to say?

What a great man of God and fellow servant/leader. Had the wonderful privilege of serving together with Roger during our years of pastoring in Los Osos. He loved his God, his family, his church and the community - all which he served with passion and compassion. Will see you in the morning, my brother and friend. Sending our love and prayers to Lynn and the kids.

We loved Rodger and Lynn so much. Roger baptized me as an adult. We met them both back in 1987. When they came here from Portland Oregon. There first church was at the South Bay Cummity Center in Los Osos CA. South Bay 4 Square.

Having walked together in ministry many times over the past 40 years, we have been blessed by his dedication and diligence to the Lord Jesus Christ, his family and his love that extended to the community at large. He would often say, you know, I might run for office one day! He has now graduated to The highest office ! We love him and look forward to our eternal celebration, together. Love and prayers to Lynn and all the family. Gary and Vicki Hess

Roger and his family were dear friends and fellow servants of the Lord during all our years in Los Osos. This is a great loss for his family and community but though we grieve, we do so we the certain hope of seeing him again. I'll always remember his email sign off: "Blessings, Pastor Roger." You were a blessing indeed, Roger, and we'll remember you well and always.

I will remember and miss Roger. He had a gentle, sincere and loving spirit. Many times over the years he shared blessings for success, loss, forgiveness and acceptance. I will be forever grateful for having known him. Prayers to Lynn and all the family. And prayers to our friend Roger.

Earth has lost and heaven gained a servant of the Good News of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It was a privilege to be your friend and co-laborer.
