This is the award winning "Mikado" float, commemorating the Golden Years of Gilbert and Sullivan for the 1963 Seattle Seafair that Roger Ford designed for my reign as Japanese Community Queen. It won every major Seafair award!

Japanese Queen Reunion 2018

My warm condolences to the family of Roger Ford. I'm saddened and so sorry for your loss. He was a kind and very talented man. I just found out about his passing today. We are very sorry for your loss. We know how much my parents Zita (Babe) and Dave Shaw enjoyed spending time with your folks May they all rest in peace. God Bless Lisa, Bob and Jacob Clements
