Not sure what to say?

I met Roger in 1982 when he rolled into my office at Good Samaritan Hospital to speak with me about my interest in Spinal Cord Injuries. We quickly became friends. Roger was a very impressive man and a wonderful friend. He always made the best of things no matter what life handed him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing at this late date but I was honored to have known him. All the best to his family and friends.

Dear Simone,
I'm not sure if you will ever see this but I have to try.
I knew Roger in high school and then later in our 20's. He was a wonderful person. None better. When I saw that he had died my heart broke for you and your son. Please know that Roger was loved by everyone he touched. My thoughts are with you Cindy Chapman Lee

Dear Dr. Roger Frank PHD. My thoughts and prayers, are for you and your family right now, your wife Simone and Mathew you son. I miss you, and I love you, you were a good counselor and ...

I contacted Roger shortly after my accident, 36 years ago. I had heard he was participating in research for spinal cord injuries. We became fast friends.I always looked up to Roger.... he was smart, funny and driven. He will reemain in my memories. My heart goes out to you, his family. He will be missed.

To the Family of Roger Frank,
I am Karen Gaffney, and I have Down Syndrome. But that didn't matter to Roger Frank. I met him right after I graduated from St. Mary's Academy, and I wanted to attend Portland Community College. I didn't know if I would be able to keep up with classes there, but he encouraged me to try. He said, we'll just take a few steps at a time, and he stayed with me the whole way. I earned my Associates of Science Degree from Portland Community College, and I am...

Farewell my friend. Though we had lost touch after the high school and college years, I remember with a big grin so many of our shared experiences (good and bad) around the Raleigh Park neighborhood, at Whitford Jr High and Beaverton High School. The adventures of Hawk and Yurd, we called them. Tennis partners, ice cream scoopers, double dates and dares, we never had a dull moment growing up together. Thanks for the memories, Roger, you shall be missed by many.

Simone and family,

I knew Roger and his positive outlook of life for many years at PCC. He was always willing to talk candidly about his past experiences, present challenges and future considerations in my college classes. He would always make us laugh, I smile just thinking about him. Never one to feel sorry for himself, it was impossible for us to do anything else, but respect this gracious man.
I also remember how excited he was when he was going to marry you and continued...

Dear Mrs. Frank and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Roger. We graduated from Beaverton High School together, from what now seems so many years ago. I remember writing to Roger when he was in Russia receiving treatment. Years later it was so good to see him become a member at Valley Community Church.
May God Bless you during this time.

Sincerely, and with Condolences,
James 'Jim' Price

I only knew Roger for a few years but I always found him to be a kind, generous man. He talked about his son at times and his face always seemed to light up when he did. I am so sorry for his death. I hope that you can find some comfort in your family and friends.
