Not sure what to say?

Growing up in Lapeer, MI, Roger and I were best friends during the High School years and more. Both Roger and his brother Brad were incredible athletes (but not me). Nonetheless, we commonly played casual sports in our yards and parks. I remember going to Rogers house frequently and notably on Sundays during football season, the sunroom with the TV room was not a place to be horsing around in, as Roger's dad would be watching the game. In High School Roger and I even went on double-dates with...

We lost touch after high school but I still have very fond memories of Roger. He was a special friend. My heartfelt sympathies to his loved ones.

My sincerest condolences to Carol and the girls. I had the great opportunity to work with Dr Gerlach in Ionia. I learned so much from him my first years after NP school. He had a spark for teaching and I remember fondly my time with him.

Same smile as when he was younger. Grew up next to him.

My sympathy to all of the family. I worked with Dr Gerlach in the Carson City Hospital for several years. I appreciate all the crazy shifts we had, I learned alot from him. He spoke of his family regularly and was so proud of his girls. The last time I saw him I had stopped at Dr Tovatt's office to say hi and catch up It was too long ago. Rest in Peace Dr Gerlach.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I was so privileged to work with Toger in Carson Hospital ER back when I was a young nurse. He helped teach me how to set up a suture tray and assist. He was a great doctor and fun to work with. He loved to teach!! He also loved braunsweager just like I do! With mustard. I will always remember him!

Carol and family; our condolences for your loss. The years working with him were a joy. He brought so much to the care of our patients. RIP Sparky.

I´m so sorry to hear of Roger´s passing. He was a great gentle man who helped me when I was early in my own practice. He is missed.
