Not sure what to say?

Roger was my friend. We spent a great deal of time together fishing many trout streams especially the North Branch, Ausable river etc. He was a great wrestling coach, teacher, a great father and husband to his wife Bonnie. Bonnie was a highly skilled pianist and organist. She played for me each Sunday at Linden United Methodist Church and I owe her a lot. God bless Roger and his family forever! Michael Grajcar.

I was taken back by the news of Roger death. He was a great person to know and to be around.

Roger and I were in grade school, boy scouts, and high school together. His monther was my piano teacher. I have fond memories of the fun we had together. I'm so glad he made it to our 45th high school reunion. It was such a thrill to see him again. Armin Tata

We are neighbors of Roger and Bonnie and we want to extend our sympathy to the family.
We are able to enjoy the small park dedicated to Roger.

He was a great teacher and wonderful kind guy. He has a big heart and every one love him for that. we are all going to miss him very much.

What a guy! He inspired and influenced everyone in our family. After moving to Ohio in the 80's Roger stayed in touch with our Dave, Ed and myself. He and Dave had very ernest, serious phone conversations. Also, there was always the $5 bet on the MSU/OSU football game. A truly great man--having an influence and being an inspiration on our oldest granddaughter; even though she never met him, she is now majoring in special education. Again, what a guy!! Our very deepest sympathy, ...

When I think of Roger, my heart is filled with happy memories of Michigan State University, games and the stories, Special Olympics, with his arms wide open to hug a special olympian and a remarkable man who lived life to the fullest. We were all blessed by his friendship.

My sympathy to his wife Bonnie
who has shown strength and such witness to God. Roger has also been a strong person and kept a smile throughout this health ordeal. There will be great sadness in our church choir as Roger was an active member. You will be missed as part of our church family.
