Survived by wife, Phil; children, Vicky Sagen, John (Nancy) Hastings, Carolyn (Jeff) Beahen, Tom (Patty) Helland, and Bob (Marianne) Helland; grandchildren, Brad, Bobby, Kate, Alex, Anna, Alisa, Jessica, Carolyn, Summer, Logan, Noah, and Connie. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 am at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 9600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. Visitation 1 hour prior at church. Interment Ft. Snelling. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000

My heart was so heavy when I heard about Roger's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you find some comfort knowing that there are people who are praying for all of you. Phil and family, I am so sorry that we were out of town for the weekend and not at home in Brooklyn Park when you called us Friday evening. We did not learn of Roger's passing until Sunday evening.
