We both were on Active Navy Duty at the same time at the Olathe KS Naval Air Station in the 50s. We lived across the street from them on "Navy Hill". He was an aircraft mechanic and I was a hospital corpsman. Our families had lots of great times together. His active duty was finished before mine.
