Roger Hunsicker

Roger M. Hunsicker, 85, of Center Valley, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Eleanor L. (Berghold) Hunsicker. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last May. Roger was born in Allentown a son of the late Nevin John Peter and Alverta (Held) Hunsicker. He owned and operated Roger's Auto Repair, Center Valley for many years before retiring in 1983. Roger was a Navy veteran of the Korean War where he served on the U.S.S. Waldren. Roger enjoyed gardening, Sudoku and spending time with his family. Survivors: Wife; sons, Timothy B. and his wife Lynn Hunsicker of Allentown, Daniel R. Hunsicker and his companion Barbara Kmetz of Allentown, Randy J. Hunsicker and his companion Stephanie Jordan of Charlotte, NC; twin brother, Roland E. and his wife Joanne Hunsicker of Deerfield Beach, FL; grandchildren, Wendy, Hailey, Jessica and Erin; great-grandchildren, Nia, Wyatt and Sam; extended family Bonnie Davis.
