Dr. Roger Ikola

Dr. Ikola was a very special man. He gave so much to the community. Not only was he our children's doctor, he was my boss when I was the Superintendent of the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District. He was always driven by what was best for the students. A great man, greatly missed.

I always had a lot of faith in Dr. Ikola. He was my children's doctor and he also offered me advice on some my medical problems. I'm so sorry he is no longer here. He was a down to earth man.

Dear Ikola Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Ikola w/be greatly missed by everyone in the Santa Maria Valley. He was quite a Historian, saved the Newlove home & the School from Bradley Road. But his "Park" was shot down by the City of SM. What a shame, that he wasn't allowed to preserve it all. My sincere sympathies to all of the family.
