Not sure what to say?

Roger,
You were one of the "Good Guys" You always had a Smile and a Kind word" It was a pleasure to have known you.

I just learned of Roger's death. I am so sorry for your loss. As a long time Fan of the Pirates I will miss him.

Sorry to here about Roger,

He was very well like in the Men's Conditioning Dept. We will miss his smile and his warm heart.

Our Dear Friend Linda,
No words can accurately express our profound sorrow and deepest sympathy to you and your family. Roger's sense of humor and demeanor made him a pleasure to be around and to call him our friend. I have a great deal of respect for his leadership of the SEAFAIR Executive Board. He encouraged the Familiy Heads to work together and always made sure we were having fun producing our events. He renewed our commitment to the festival and our communities and lead us by...

Dear Linda,

It is with a heavy heart that I along with the Seafair Pirates bid our friend a safe passage. Remember, "What we have one enjoyed we can never lose...All that we love deeply becomes part of us." (Helen Keller) Roger was loved deeply and will always be a part of us. Linda, my deepest condolences go out to you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything that the Seafair Pirates or I can do to help you during this difficult time.

ROGER - WE LOVE YOU. WE WILL MISS YOU!...

Roger I was so looking forward to passing on the Trident to you I will have to wait untill we meet in heaven to tell you that you would have been one of the most respected and best Davy Jones in the Seafair Pirates history.

When we arrived in Seattle for Debra's position as District Commander, USACE, Roger and Linda were among the first to pull us into the life of the city. Roger was always kidding Doug about the Marines being better than the Army and always giving Debra a hug and a salute at the same time! We'll miss you, our friend, but your laughing smile and energy of ten will stay with us always.

Thanks Roger for the influence and advice, comeraderie and humor...it was a pleasure knowing you and having you in the Club.
Linda, he was a fine man and I am very sorry for your loss.
