I will always remember Russ as a funny compassionate man who cared for his extended family Very Much. He hated to fly so he drove to Las Vegas NV to visit a few times before trying the flying experience. I always thought that his fear of flying was odd for a man so smart! Being a special ed teacher is truly a special skill, Uncle Russ will be missed by many, Love Ed McGuire

To the entire Lorrey family: the world has lost a good man but his personality and sense of humor live on in all of you. Much love and prayers to all of you as you deal with the loss of a man who was obviously loved so much by so many. God Bless.

Dear Helen and family,
Sending our love and condolences at this sad time. We too loved Russ and will cherish his memory of jokes and laughter. His ability to put others at ease and his fantastic dancing are hallmarks of his time with all of us. He was a hero too for his efforts in WWll, but he always played down that fact-a genuine patriot. We will see you all soon.
Dan and Aleen-
