So many fond memories of neighborhood days in Lenoir City, TN. Countless cookouts, Holiday parties and lazy days on Ft. Loudoun Lake. Roger & Jan had a way of making any day batter. Roger's wit, wisdom and encouragement touched my life forever and I know I am indeed a 'Better Person for knowing Him'......

Soooooo glad we spent so many wonderful times together these past years. Our trips to Colorado to visit Grandma's childhood places were wonderful. We'll miss your smiling heart but we'll keep remembering the good times and the laughter and love we shared. Love, Cathie

Thank you to friends and family who have expressed their condolences for the passing of my dad, Roger McCandless. He fought cancer for two years with an amazingly strong attitude. It's hard to believe that he's not with us any more and that the phone will never again ring with him on the other end, perhaps asking me to bring the dogs over for a visit. That I'll never again hear him strum the banjo or ukulele or tickle the ivories. Or get some bad forwarded joke in an e-mail! I'll so miss his...
