Not sure what to say?

We have so many cherished memories involving our decades of friendship with Roger and Jan. Roger was the perfect friend; he was always up for an adventure, checked in often, and could always be counted on to support whatever projects we had going on. We consider ourselves to be incredibly lucky to have been two of Roger's many, many friends. We will miss him every day.

I will miss Roger. He was very important to the engineering community of Portland. More than that he was a good friend and great person.

We have wonderful memories of our time together, over many years, with Roger and family. Fun vacations and trips. We will miss Roger and send our love to Jan, Kellee, and Kellee's children. Jim and a judi

Roger was one of my close friends and colleagues. Our association and friendship began at Portland State University in early 1970s and continued for decades afterwards. We were both licensed Civil & Structural Engineers and interested in teaching, practice of engineering, and forensic engineering. We both served as President of SEAO, and were active in several other professional engineering societies. I especially appreciated Roger´s lectures in the Forensic Engineering course that I taught...

We loved Roger and we miss him terribly.

I appreciate Roger very much. He was a good friend to me here in Charbonneau where we worked together on Emergency Preparedness for our 200+ home HOA. His training and intelligence were always evident, along with a gentleness of spirit as he tutored me in aspects of engineering and disasters I needed to be aware of. I send heartfelt condolences to Janet and all of Roger's family. I know he will be most lovingly missed by all who knew him.

As our kids grew up with Roger's grandkids in Wilsonville, he became a fixture behind many little league backstops and on the sides of lots of soccer fields. He was always a class act. I'd always seek him out to visit with him and I still sometimes think of him as a "grandpa role model." I send my condolences to Kellee and the kids. They were lucky to have him on the sidelines.

So sorry to see Roger´s death. He was one of the really nice guys of our days on Mt. Hood and at Portland State and years afterwards. Condolences to Janet , Kellee and all the family .
