I was so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He was just a a great guy. His store was so unique and I think he had the coldest drinks in Salem. A lot of our conversations were about football. He was such a huge fans of the Redskins, and myself a Cowboy fan. For many yrs. I would stop by the store everyday until I moved 4 yrs. ago. I did manage to avoid the store if my Cowboys lost, cause Roger would give me a hard time. We shared many a laugh and good stories though. I will miss Roger so much...

Roger was such a wonderful person and will certainly be missed in the South Salem community. All of our children and grandchildren grew up knowing Dilly Dally and Roger. You didn't just run in and out of the store, he always had time to talk or laugh with you. He will be missed very very much. Our hearts and prayers to the family and hopefully they can take comfort in knowing that now he is at peace with no more pain and suffering.
