Not sure what to say?

I opened this email today and it brought up a flood of emotions. Losing a wonderful man, a wonderful friend like Roger puts an empty spot in your heart that can never be healed. Roger was truly "One of a Kind". He honestly was the nicest person that I have ever met. Matt and I have so many great memories of Roger - camping with young Matt, hunting camp with the Motel 6 gang, the Union dinners in Camas, watching him find his sweet wife Mary and build a lovely life together. Roger always made...

It is not a cliche to say that Roger would "give you the shirt off his back". He truly was a man who would do that. We will miss his smile, his laughter and his bear hugs. Our love and thoughts go out to his entire family. Till we meet again, Roger....

Roger is on of those rare people in the world. To say that he was great is an understatement of who and what he represents. Giant is the only word that does justice to Roger a real giant. One can only hope to achieve his abilities and foresight. you will be missed but never forgotten.

When I married your cousin, Mike Gibson, I not only got a cousin, a very big! family and a friend. You will always be remembered with love and laughter. What great memories they are. My love goes out to the whole family and your many friends.

When I think of Roger I can't help but smile. After a hard day of fishing and laughter on the reservoir at “Fish Camp” you could count on his chuckles at dinner, the fun at playing poker, and at the conclusion of the evening, Roger could snore like no one else. Roger, I will think of you often, and I smile... Thank you for the privilege of knowing you and your family.

Knowing you for over 30 yrs brings me joy remembering so many great times together. I will always remember your belly laugh and strong hugs of care I felt. Our family will miss you greatly. RIP our friend!

What a loss of a special guy......He will be missed...
I am sure Rick met him with a big hug and all his noises.
Remember your awesome memories you all have. They will help you.
The PUD family is awesome and will be there for you, as they have been for me.....

My heartfelt thoughts go out to the Meier family. What a special man he was and a good friend to all those he encountered. He will be missed. I am sure he and Neil are having a great reunion!

He helped light the way.
