Meyer, I´m very saddened to learn of his recent passing but even more inspired to learn of all the wonderful things and people he touched during his prolific life. Dr. Meyer did my first 2 transplants. He was both a spectacular surgeon and a human being. I also had the opportunity to work with him at UM Health System and was always impressed with his graciousness and respect. He will be sorely missed.
