I too skim obits occasionally and am not sure what drew me to Rogers,however I sure am glad I read about him.What an amazing human being !!!!! After reading of All his accomplishments, I was shocked to see he was a stained glass artist!!!! I would love to see his work and his paintings. I've been a glass artist for 50 years and the next time I'm visiting upstate NY,I will be visiting the museums that hold his art.My condolences to his Beautiful family. OMG. I skim the obits everyday. Sometimes I read random ones that catch my eye. This one sure did. He sounded like an incredible human being! Amazing humanitarian! So sorry for your loss. But you were privileged to be a part of his family. Hopefully he didn´t suffer too much. Linda S.

Roger was a class member.We always knew he would do great things with his life.We often had a chat over the phone and re-lived our school days.He was so proud of his family.I'm sure his soul went straight to heaven and he is with his beloved Joanna.I'm going to miss our chats.Rest in peace my friend.
