My deepest sympathy to Roger´s family. I was in school with him at St Charles Borromeo and St Meinrad. What a huge loss. He was a good friend when we were young.

Sue, Joel and Family,
My sympathy on the loss of Buddy. Bud was a larger-than-life personality and filled the room with his energy and wit. So many fond memories of puppet shows in the basement, his renderings of the Peanuts characters on the basement walls and the way he could play that trombone. He filled all our lives with goodness; he left that behind to comfort and console us. Another angel has earned his wings. Heaven's blessings to you sweet Buddy.

Roger and I were in the same grade at Chaney and then graduated from Monge Junior High school in 1969. Rogers mother was our Cub Scout den mother. I talked to Roger about 10 years ago and he said that he still had the table that we all sat around during Cub Scouts, and we all signed the table where we sat. Roger also had a Charlie Mc Carthy puppet that he used to bring to school because he wanted to be a ventriloquist. He was quite the character. Rest in Peace my friend

Roger and I lived block apart and quickly became life long friends. He told me last year of his accident and other health issues hea was dealing with, some of which caused him to move often and depend on his Chicago friends to get to medical services. When multiple attempts to contact him failed, asked another classmate if they heard anything, only to find he'd passed on the 10th.
Roger leaves behind a legacy of varied careers and life experiences, and friends he's made globally when he...
