Roger was a good man. I met him through the refugee resettlement program when resettling my fellow country men and women, at the International Service Center. Roger Olson was one of the kindest souls we have ever known. As a volunteer with the International Service Center, he served Afghan refugee families with quiet compassion and unwavering dedication. Even as his strength faded, his heart never did-he continued checking in, making sure families would be cared for until his very last days. Roger lived to serve others, right up to his final breath. His kindness will live on forever in the lives he touched.

As a real estate attorney for 30 years I recall Roger´s work very well. If a property had a "Roger Olson" inspection report, it was like the seal of approval. Part of his legacy is in the many dreams of homeownership that he helped to come true. Sympathies and prayers to his family.
