Not sure what to say?

I just read in the Harvard Magazine about the passing of my dear friend and roommate from Harvard. I know he will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Joanne, I want to extend my deepest condolences to you. I have such fond memories of our times together.

Joanne, news of Roger's death brought back memories of when you first became our next door neighbors. He was a good man and you were great neighbors. My deepest sympathy. Jim Horkheimer

We are sorry to learn of the passing of Roger, but grateful for his (and Joanne's) service to our nation with the Peace Corps in Paraguay.

Our Condolences,
The National Peace Corps Association

Dear Jim, Denise and family,

So sorry for your loss, Betsy. May Roger rest in peace. Joan Hauser

To Betsy: I misread the details, and I deeply apologize for referring to Roger as your father, when he is indeed your brother. Your loss is the same.
