Not sure what to say?

Roger and Dean, Nadine and I meant to meet and visit with you many times over the few years that we knew each other, but something always got into the way. Living within 300 miles of each other one would think that we could have made the connection, but somehow t was not to be. While in Nashville I learned that you, myself, Nadine my son James and his wife were there at the same time. I learned of this a day or two after you had flown home. We were heading home from Georgia where my...

Chief, you were one of a kind! I will always remember you and your dedication to the USAF Transportation career field. Rest in Peace and know that you were loved very much by many of us.

Chief, Thank you for everything you have done for our Great Nation and the many countries and people that have benefited from your wisdom and sacrifices. We cannot thank you enough Dean and family for allowing Chief to give some much throughout the many years and the sacrifices you and your family have endured from the extended hours, deployments, short tours and much more. Roger and I served together at NKP Thailand in 1974 and 1975. He was a great transporter. RIP Roger.

RIP Chief. God bless you for your service and thank you for everything you gave this nation.

Roger and I became friends after being assigned to Offut AFB NE. He was a true Transporter and always had a story to tell. We traveled together to California and visited his home. We enjoyed the food and had a great visit with family. We kept in contact by phone and Email and we were able to visit last summer and had a wonderful lunch with Dean.
He will be missed by all and may he rest in peace.

We are all saddened by Roger's passing. He was our friend and fellow transporter. May he rest in eternal peace. God Bless you all.

Roger had a way of making me feel like I had known him for a long time the very first time we met on the phone.
