I rushed to the accident because my daughter told me of the incident, and I rushed over and saw Roger. I do not know why i rushed there, but i did. Roger and I worked and talked together many times coordinating the LMYA programs. When i told him something strange he would say, Good Gravy or Holly Christmas, but would never "swear". I think Roger was someone I tried to be like. Sorry for your loss, but your generosity for sharing Roger was huge. Kendall

I only know Roger from his websites, online content, and the equipment he designed. I found his webpages while researching my audio gear. His writing about the gear was at once personal, and very informative and scientific. I could not stop reading and have read his content many times over. He truly left the world a better place. My condolences to his Family and the friends that had the pleasure of knowing him. Thanks Roger Russell.

When I started, he was already out at Arkansas nuclear power plant working. Shortly thereafter I ended up at Palisades nuclear power plant in Michigan. After a few years we both ended up back in San Francisco supporting various plants under construction or proposed plants. The new power plant construction business wound...

Here is what I remember about Rodger: He was smart. Way beyond just an ivory tower kind of smart. He was an engineer´s engineer. Rodger was practical, applied, real world smart. Car smart, electricity smart, and nuclear power plant smart. He was curious and interested in everything. He was a family man in the truest sense. When a marriage runs over fifty years, which is never without challenges, this says a lot about Suzie and Rodger. The evidence of their character is reflected in...
