Condolences to Skips family. I grew up in the same neighborhood a few blocks away from Skip. I also worked with him at Coastal Striping and briefly at Rampart. A funny memory I have of Skip was one summer day I was with some friends at King Park in Alma ( along Michigan Ave.) and here comes Skip on a snowmobile raising cane, tearing up the grass. He certainly was a character and most definitely hell on wheels. I like that in a person. Once again my symoathy and condolences.

My prayers and sympathy are sent to all of you. Skip was always such a character. My husband Roger Bland and I worked with him many years with Rampart and Coastal Striping. He loved to tease me.I Won't ever forget the time we were on a runway, he didn't have a shirt on and he splashed me with paint so I grabbed a roller with paint and beads on it and painted his chest and beard and it stuck to all his body and then I run like Hell. He had to shave the beard off that night. We had a lot of fun...
