My Friend for life, Roger has left this earthly plane, dropped his body and ascended to where I can feel him closer than ever. He is there. I love ❤ you Roger. Thank you for getting' me before I even got myself. Thank you for loving me and knowing the right thing to say or joke about so I wouldn't take myself so seriously or beat myself up senselessly. I am sad that you won't be around to marry Spike and me, as Enid in a kilt or Roger in a kilt, both would have been smashing. If there is a...

I am Superhuman because of Roger. Are you Superhuman, too? Who are you because Roger was in your life?

Roger was an integral part of my life for many years during the 80's and 90's . Coming out, figuring 'it' out, and learning about life would have been so much more difficult without Roger. His sense of humor disarmed society's judgments, cut to the truth, and enabled me - and many others whom I knew and he loved - to find our places in life; I have met very few people in my life able to do this. He was not afraid to ask you the tough questions about life and had the wisdom to let your answers...

Roger was a big part of my life in the early 80's . I haven't talked to or seen him in 30 years. I was drawn to his flamboyant personality. Never a dull moment. He made me laugh and he made me cry. I was able to meet his family to whom I am so sorry for your loss., and the loss of 2 brothers that also recently passed away. I have thought of him a lot over the past 30 years, he's someone you can never forget! I am so saddened of Rogers passing. Rest In Peace Roger Brent Salazar. Trish

Salazar Family,
I was communicating with Roger recently while he was in the hospital after losing contact for quite some time. He spoke of all the loss in your family recently and now here you are losing him. I am so saddened by this news. I hope the memories of this gentle, hilarious giant are a source of comfort. He will always be my one "claim to fame" as he credited me in Enid's book with having given her "such beautiful nails". He will never be forgotten.
God bless,
Marilyn...
