Not sure what to say?

I hadn't seen Roger since we graduated from McClatchy in 1958, but I knew him from the time he came to Fruitridge elementary school. Always the same nice guy, ever cheerful and friendly and non-judgmental. In recent years, he took the time to call us, all of his old friends who had moved away from Sacramento, to tell us about the latest reunion. We are so sorry to hear about the passing of roger. Our thoughts and prayers go out to lyn and family.

To Janette and to your sisters,
Our thoughts are with you. We know how much you love your family and how much Roger will be missed. Aloha,

The best line I ever heard from Mr. Sargent: "What a motley looking crew this is." He said this as he opened his door, and looked over Troy's high school friends, and welcomed us into their home. We were a group of varied ethnic backgrounds and thus the beauty of his quip. Mr. Sargent always had us come in to regale us with stories, which we later realized were life lessons. Although he didn't love our music, we always felt welcome. May he find peace and comfort. From us all Sarge...

To all my Sargent cousins and families. So sorry for the passing of Roger who was also my cousin.
I was not privileged to live in Calif. with all of you, grow up to know you, but do have fond memories when we came to visit Grandma Sargent and got to play together as little kids together.
My love & prayers are with all of you at this time in your lives. Roger will be greatly missed.
