Roger gave me my first "real" job in 1989 when I was 22 yrs old, driving his tankers and delivering to his Citgo stations from Buffalo to Rochester. Tough guy to work for. No nonsense and hard at times. But always fair and with a sense of humor. As the years went by I realized and appreciated how much I learned from those experiences and 5 years working for Roger. He taught me a lot as a young man and I have carried those lessons with me for 36 yrs.

I worked for Roger at Sheridan and Harlem back in the 1970's when the gasoline was in the 70's. Remember him driving up in his black Monte Carlo wearing aviator shades and a leather jacket. He was a cool guy and always pleasant.
