Roger R. Seip

The newsroom can be a chaotic and mean place, but Roger never let circumstances bully him or overwhelm his good judgment and gentle nature. He always had a smile and positive comment to lift the heaviness. I enjoyed worked with him thoroughly and can imagine right now, him striding toward the city desk with a grin of confidence and the satisfaction of another story well written.

Mikey and Craig, you were my best friends growing up and we shared a lot of fun times together. I wish to express my sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad. Both of our Fathers passed on just a few days apart and this is a very difficult time for our families. We will always remember your Dad's warmth and kindness. Peace and love to all!

In addition to being a good guy and fine reporter, he wasn't a bad basketball player.

Roger and I worked together as reporters for many years. He was a wonderful colleague! He worked hard but always had time to share story ideas. He spoke lovingly of Pam and the boys.
Now he and Pam are back together. Rest in peace, Roger.
