Im so saddened by the news! He was a special human being that meant a lot to me and everyone who knew him! Rest In Peace my friend

I grew up with Roger in Westmont. He was a good friend to me and always had my back regardless of the situation. He always found a way of making you laugh even if you did not want to. Everyone always enjoyed being around him. RIP Roger Dodger !!!

Roger you will truly be missed! You were a Great son-in-law and a Great Father to our Grandsons Evan and Kyle! Shari was very lucky to have you in her life and ours too! May you Rest In Peace ❤

I Grew up with Roger, what a great friend he was! Short story. We were at a All-Star baseball practice, practicing outfield drills. Near the end of the practice the coach started hitting rainmaker fly balls to the outfielders threatening if you miss the ball you will need to lap the park. At that point Roger proceeded to takeoff his glove and caught the last five or so barehanded. RIP Roger. Thanks for the memories!

I just heard the news, RIP buddy.
To family, I grew up in Westmont Illinois, live in Chicago. I was one of those who played baseball in little league and Babe Ruth league with Roger. He lived close to Memorial Park so we would sometimes play running bases or fast pitch for hours after our practice or game had ended. Great guy, good ball player, he will be missed. Ozzie

Shari, Evan and Kyle, My heart breaks for you all. Roger always made me laugh and others. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! ❤ We love you -Mike and Laurie Ortiz

Roger, we hold lots of fun memories of growing up with Jim and the shenanigans you guys did. I was blessed to be brought into the friendship you had with him. Sports and fun times were had. You were a great friend. We were blessed to be part of your wedding in Michigan and had so much fun. Shari and the boys were blessed to have you in their lives. May you rest in peace.
