My condolences to the family. I worked with Roger at Walmart. Loved him so much. He was such a kind gentleman. So sorry for your loss.

Roger was a proud member of the Fernandina Pirate Club here in Fernandina Beach Florida. I served with him.as Sergeant ar Arms for a period of time. He was very knowledgeable about black powder that we shoot. A great kind person who loved being a Pirate serving the community. Very sorry to hear if his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I graduated with Roger. His sister Linda was a friend of mine. His whole family was so close and loving with each other. I am very happy that h we was able to serve our Country and his community in Florida. Just like I remember him, as a very kind classmate. I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family, and by all who knew him...

Marlene, Linda and family, I´m so sorry to hear about your brother. I´m sure he knew how much you loved him. Hoping all of your special memories will keep him close.

I remember playing football at Roger´s house on Francis Street with our brothers. I thought I knew what fast guys looked like until I saw Roger motoring around on those long legs. He could move! I totally respect his choice to move to Florida, I did the same thing. And I respect his life of service. He was one of the good guys. Phil Vogelsang
