Not sure what to say?

Roger was a generous soul. We appreciate all that he did to give our son the opportunity to experience the field of engineering while a student at Purdue. It meant the world to us!

Devin and Kathryn Sanders

My husband and I sat next to Roger at our Rotary District conference in South Bend this spring. To our mutual amazement Roger and I went to rival Lutheran high cchools in Chicago, he to Luther South, myself to Luther North. We very much enjoyed our shared history of growing up in Chicago, our Lutheran school connections and our love of Rotary. He will be deeply missed.

Roger was a wonderful man and friend to the entire railroad industry. He will be missed. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am a member of the Valparaiso Rotary Club. I had the pleasure of working with Roger when he served as our District Governor. Roger had a passion for his community both locally and internationally. He exemplified our desire for the truth, fairness, building goodwill, building better friendships and making sure all concerned were benefited.Thank you Roger. This is not good bye but see you later.

I've known Roger for almost 30 years and he was always a class act. Always quick with a handshake and a smile and a kind word. Patricia, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I always looked up to Roger and will miss him.

Pat and Family, words can never express how much Roger meant to so many people or the loss you feel personally. My sincere condolences during such a difficult time. For me personally he showed the true essence of Christian and rotarian character. He was so full of grace and always showed the very best in how people should react with principle but also enjoy life! He will forever be remembered in my heart. Sending lots of love.
