Roger was a mentor, a colleague and above all he was a friend. He will be greatly missed.

Roger was a good friend and colleague. He will be greatly missed in the railroad industry where he brought his vast metallurgical expertise to enlighten us all.

ROGER WAS A GOOD FRIEND, ADVISOR,AND A VALUED ASSET TO THE ENTIRE U.S.RAIL INDUSTRY. HIS VIEWS AND COMMENTS WERE ALWAYS WELL FOUNDED, AND LOGICAL. HIS PRESENCE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM.

Our meeting in magical Hana was short but conversations with Roger made us feel like old friends. He left us with fond memories and he will be remembered.

Roger will certainly be missed by all those that he touched. It is a great loss for the rail community but even greater loss to his family. May God bless them and watch over them in this very difficult time.

Roger's friendship and guidance for more than 30 years helped me grow personally and professionally. I will miss our conversations and emails very, very much, Good bye old friend.
