Roger Ufkes was a huge presence in my life from the time I was around 13 years old and I first met he and his family and kids in Bellingham. He & my dad Ron Buzard worked together for years at Sudden Valley & beyond, and our families grew up together. Roger was so quick with a story and a laugh, and a positive attitude that never quit.
