Grandpa was such a funny person. I remember many times when he would brighten up my day or make me laugh. He had such a great personality. I remember growing up and him driving us around town and he would yell "Snake" and then swerve the car(Astro Van) back and forth like a snake and make all of us kids laugh! And we loved it! I remember finding M&Ms all over his house hidden, he always had something there for us. I was so happy that he got a chance to meet my husband and son, and all...

Grandma,
Grandpa was someone that I always looked up to. I wanted to pattern my life like his. He was always happy and fun to be around. It always seemed that you and him had figured out life and all of the challenges associated it. You always knew how Grandpa felt about something. And if you had done something wrong he would let you know, but was quick to forgive and let you know he still loved you. I love you and Grandpa. I am going to miss him. You and Grandpa have been a...

I am not sure what to say at this time. I have fond memories of Grandpa. He was such a funny guy. I know he loved you and his family and the church and how could I leave out Hot Wheels. It must have been hard to watch the love of your life slowly slip away from you then watch his body fall apart. I know he is a joker even the last time I saw him he did not know who I was but he made jokes about it. He was so funny. I know we will see him again, so we just have to wait to see him again....

One special memory I have of Roger was when he lived in Gainesville ,Ga . in the late 1980's. Gainesville experienced a total solar eclipse and I was out in the back of the house watching the shadows.Roger had just came home and it was close to noon when the eclipse was at total. We shared that time talking about the wonders of the earth and watched the sun through a pin hole go dark and the land and animals go quiet. It was a spiritual experience to feel the power of the sun. Roger also...

Grandma,
I was so grateful that I got to see grandpa before he died, even in the months before his death he had such a light about him. He brought a smile to my face even in the worst of circumstances and it's his unfailing good humor that I will remember most about him. The great thing about you and grandpa is that you both are strong individuals, as well as a strong loving couple. I know that you'll keep that strength even now with grandpa gone. The most comforting thing is knowing that...

Dad was probably the most influential person in my life. There are too many things to mention in terms of what I learned from Dad, but one of the most important things is that each of us will have an influence and impact on many other lives and that it is important to leave a positive one that will last forever. This is leadership and in essence, leadership is influence. Help make someone a better person. That is the purpose of the Gospel: To make bad men good, to make good men better,...
