Not sure what to say?

Roger it is this day(March 4th) that I think of you every year. Because of the little antidote you told me that your grandmother used to tell you. Today is the only day of the year that gives you orders: March 4th. God rest your soul old friend. You truly were not just another pretty face in the crowd. Memory eternal.

I was shocked to learn of Roger's passing. I'm very sorry I missed the opportunity to say good bye. God bless you, Roger. A solid man, great friend. To the Weist/Kerrigan family...my deepest sympathies. Bob, Pat, Bill, Carol and all Roger's sibs, you're in my prayers. God bless you Roger. May you rest in peace.

For all the joy he brought to Sunday afternoons on air.

I am extremely sad and was incredibly shocked to hear of this. I kept saying "No! Are you sure?!" I met Roger at the Irish fest and listened to his shows for years, always full of incredible energy and cheer on air. Decades ago, he asked me out, sight unseen. Safe home, Roger.. safe journey home. Miss X (blogtalkradio.com).

Our most sincere condolences to the entire west family. Sue and Hans Wagner

I worked with Roger as a volunteer for WRUW 91.1FM. My radio show followed his since 2010 and he was one of my favorite programmers at the station. He was always a smiling face at any WRUW event, his show is very popular with the Irish community and we will miss his enormous contribution to the station where he has been a volunteer since 2003. I will miss seeing his smiling face and warm personality every week.

Roger, thank you for being a very good neighbor at Lake Edge. Thank you for your dedication to the affairs of property management. Always the voice of reason. Always friendly & kind. I will miss my friend & neighbor. Your bravery through out all your challenges were deeply admired. Enjoy the spiritual fruits of your earthly labor. Namaste

Safe home Roger, safe home.

Roger was a friend of many years,...and a great guy to work with. His passing leaves me memories of joy. And I look forward to seeing him in the hereafter so he can explain Irish History to me once again. Rets in peace old friend.
