Dr. Welchans is largely responsible for setting me on a lifetime career in the arts which continues to this day. He was a good, kind, and wise man-funny too.

Uncle Roger. You didn´t want me to call you Uncle Roger but that is how I always knew you. I still have the engraved silver cup you gave me when I was born. It has become a tradition in our family. Thank you for your artistic talent. It has been inherited by my grandchildren. Although I didn´t spend enough time with you I will cherish the memories of a very talented, amazing Uncle Roger.
