Not sure what to say?

After years of Roger's passing, it's interesting how memories surface at the most peculiar times that still have a way of putting a smile on your face. One particular time that stands out was in the early 90's when my cousin, Roger Dale, flew in to Austin on his company plane and we met for dinner at a nearby restaurant. After dinner he whispered to me asking if I could show him how to take a picture with his camera. I couldn't help but look at him in disbelief and grin due to his standing...

Still think of Roger often. He was a great guy to work under. I always felt he should have be running BEF after Dan Evans. My best times there in my 30 plus years were when he was in charge.

It is still hard to imagine that Roger left us when he was in the prime of his life. His accomplishments throughout our years growing up always amazed me. I guess, in large part, due to the fact that he was my pal and also my cousin and I spent so many fun visits going all the way to Thurman, Ohio from Milwaukee, Wisconsin through our school years. He was as nice as he was fun to be with and do things with. I miss his gentle and fun loving spirit.

I just found out of Rogers passing. Roger hired me into the Bob Evans Restaurant management program when I was 19 in 1978.He took a chance on me and for that I will be forever grateful.I contacted Roger about 6 years ago as my aunt had fallen at one of the BE Restaurants and she was told that the medical charges had been denied. I called Roger about what happened, he looked into the matter and it was handled. My prayers go out to the family for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with...

I was just now trying to find Roger on the Internet to send a hello message. I was in his class at Rio and also a math major. He was a very good guy with a fun sense of humor. I heard that he had a terrific career and wanted to send my contratulations. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. My sympathy to the family, though it is belated.

Sue Ann and Family, Words can not express the loss of a great friend. RIP Roger, you will be missed by all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sue Ann, shocked and saddened by this news. We just saw you two at Friday's a few weeks ago. We were out of town 1/30 through 2/5 so had no idea this happened. There was a letter to the editor today that mentioned it. so sorry for your family's loss. So many fine memories of Roger, I have a picture on my desk of Kate and I at the Chevington Woods Christmas Party, Roger took the picture. Our most sincere condolences.

Sue Ann and family, I was so sorry to hear about Roger's passing. I will miss our conversations on the weekends as he drove his beautiful sports car through Glenshire, it was always a good time. I am sure he is driving around heaven doing the same thing. He and Dad are up there having one of their many conversations like they had when you lived in Chevington Woods during his walks around the neighborhood. Roger was and still is a great person who loved everyone and showed it by taking the...
