Not sure what to say?

Mr. Williams was responsible for bringing our family to Central Florida in 1960. He hired my father, the late Emanuel Cheros, to begin his career as a teacher in Apopka. I was a classmate of his son at Dream Lake Elementary. We have fond memories of Mr. Williams and your family. Our deepest sympathies to you.

Mr. Williams will be missed not only by his family, but also his friends, former students, and any one having the priviledge of knowing him. He was a great Christian leader and an inspiration to all. He was a special person, and will be long remembered by all who loved him. I am sure he is in his mansion that Jesus prepared for him waiting for his loved ones to one day join him. What a day of rejoicing that will be.

Class 1954

Mr. Williams was a man of deep principle and abiding faith, and I know he is already greatly missed by the many who came under his care and guidance. May the peace that passes understanding fill the lives of his family and friends. Class of 1971. It's THE ONE!

When my mother passed away I remember looking to the back of the funeral home and there sat Mr Williams. As he has always done in the past he was still visiting family members that had past on to to better places, who where the parents, or grandparents of one his former students. Now it is the students turn to say goodbye. Mr Williams, you are one of the strongest men that has walked this earth and left it a better place than when you found it. The students and graduants of AMHS are better...

I wish to express my condolences to the family. Mr. Williams hired me to teach math in 1966 and I spent 34 years teaching in Apopka. Had he not given me the first position I ever had, I would have missed some great experiences. He was an inspiration to me.
May the Lord bless and comfort you.

I was priviledged to know this fine gentleman. He was a strong and fair leader, strict but kind and supportive. His loyal staff reflected his leadership style also and most of the students became responsible adults. He was truly one of the most influential people in Florida and his legacy will live on for generations to come in all of us. I lift the family up and thank them for sharing this big man with us through the numerous games, events and reunions. Sally Michielsen Miller, class of...

Having the privilege of "graduating" with Mr. Williams in 1980, it was truly an honor to know and love this kindly young gentleman. Mr. Williams would never let himself be called an "old" man, just aged like a fine wine. He will be greatly missed in Apopka, at the Rotary, and at many more AMHS & AHS Reunions. The best quote I took from Mr. Williams is "A team that won't be beat, can't be beat!", and that quote picks me up when I am getting down on myself....I won't be beat!!!!!!!

Our deepest sympathy to the Williams Family. Mr. Williams was a great man and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
